The list below is meant to be a guide many items will vary by style and manufacturer each listing should include more detailed info on the size of that item including girth and length, but this should give you a good place to start looking for the size you need. Often times especially with small breeds the girth will be on the thin side and a compromise has to be made between length and girth. Garment measuring for proper size

Please be certain of your measurements for sizes measure your pet with a cloth tape measure (if you don't have a cloth tape measure you can use a piece of string and a yard stick)

1. measure for length from the back of the head at the base of the neck, where the shoulder blades meet to the spot just before the tail starts and this will give you the corresponding size for length (Topline). For example if your measurement is 12” the typical garment will be a size 12. But many times leaner breed’s or a plump pet will require a different size so you also will need a girth measurement.

2.For girth measure from behind the front legs all the way around the widest part of the chest, so that we can get the proper fit for you. A dachshund for example is not going to fit by length and usually will wear the next size down.
