The straping system was created because most of the factory made hats we have tried just didn't cut the mustard, to meet the need for a hat that will actually stay on your dogs head and not blow off into oblivion we made this style. Our hats are double stitched with folded bias tape. And have a thin layer of insulation and a shady visor to help protect your pet from all the elements. Velcro closures are provided to insure a secure and comfortable  fit.  And they are hand washable.
